   As discussed in the introduction itself , Alan Curtis Kay   was the man behind the idea of DynaBook  which can be treated as the first concept   portable computer.  In the early yeas itself   Kay has a clear vision about the use of his invention . The Dyna book was designed as a study tool for children's and considered the first  computing concept aimed at a student.  After the Dynabook  this concept remained almost forgotten for a long while and  the children's got so many other electronic gadgets toy get play with like the video games.

Alan Kay was never satisfied with the trends in computer industry only targeting the high end market products and proprietary software's.   So he become part of a new and promising project to full fill his dream and co-developed a project called One Laptop Per Child ( OLPC ) which was begun and sustained by  his close friend , Nicholas Negroponte  . This project is also known as $100 Laptop project.
